Margera, best known for his stint on MTV's "Jackass," turned himself in early on Thursday, April 27, Grothey wrote on Twitter.

The 43-year-old stuntman and pro skateboarder is charged with misdemeanor simple assault and multiple counts of terroristic threats, Pennsylvania court filings show. He posted $50,000 bail and is due back for his preliminary hearing on May 25.

"I just got out of the courthouse with my lawyers," Margera wrote on Instagram shortly after his release.

"Everything went great and the false accusations of what my brother says are not true and he will be sued for defamation as well as being evicted from castle bam sooner than later," he said.
